Summer can feel endless with the longer days and the warm weather. Sometimes, it can be hard to think of activities to help keep you active. Luckily, we’ve come up with the ultimate healthy summer bucket list!

Take a Dip

Swimming is a great workout that works almost every muscle in your body. Even if you take a quick dip, or even tread water for a few minutes, it’s still a great activity to enjoy when the weather is hot. Make a splash at your nearest swimming hole to keep cool while being active!

Go Shopping

Head out to your local farmer’s market for a fun afternoon activity. Get in some extra steps for your day while helping out your community by shopping locally. You can also find some delicious fruits and vegetables that are in season this time of year!

Whip it Up

After your trip to the farmer’s market, whip up a healthy smoothie to help stay cool. Smoothies are a great afternoon treat, and you can reap the benefits of nutrition while enjoying a tasty summer snack! Create your own recipes with fresh produce like fruit salads or fire up the grill for grilled fruits and vegetables to provide a nutritional boost.

Take a Hike

Hiking is a great way to enjoy nature and the warm weather while also keeping you active. Be on the lookout for trails in your area, or travel to your favorite hiking spot. Be sure to bring plenty of water with you – hydration in the heat is important.
