Fast Track Flu Shots available now

You can now get a flu shot with little or no wait anytime at any Patient First medical center.

  • 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day – walk in anytime.
  • Protect yourself against four flu strains with our quadrivalent flu shots.
  • If your insurance covers flu shots at Patient First, pay only the copay (which is often $0) or $35, whichever is less.
  • Self-pay flu shot cost is $35.
  • Fast Track Flu shots are for patients who are not allergic to eggs, who do not wish to see a physician, and who are at least 4 years old.

Zika: The Basics of the Virus and How to Protect Against It

Zika outbreaks are currently happening in many countries and territories. While the mid-Atlantic is not currently experiencing any locally-acquired mosquito-borne cases, all of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey are in the native range of mosquitoes that carry the Zika virus. Additionally, Zika may be spread through any sexual contact with an infected person even if the person does not have symptoms at the time. Zika can also be spread from a pregnant woman to her fetus. It is important to take precautions to prevent mosquito bites and be aware of the risk of transmission through sexual and in utero contact.

The Health Matters brochures help keep you informed about seasonal health topics. The Health Matters – Sun and Heat-Related Problems brochure provides information about the dangers of excessive sun exposure and gives tips to help you identify a melanoma. Patient First once again accepts UnitedHealthcare plans in Pennsylvania

Effective immediately, Patient First is pleased to announce our Pennsylvania medical centers are once again able to care for UnitedHealthcare members. These plans include all HMO and PPO commercial products, Options PPO, Navigate Products, Medicare Advantage, and OneNet Worker’s Compensation. Under this new agreement, Patient First may provide both urgent care for illnesses and injuries, as well as primary care to UnitedHealthcare members.

For the time being, Patient First is not participating in the UnitedHealthcare Exchange products that terminate statewide on December 31, 2016 or in UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, the managed Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program.
