Open 8 am to 8 pm, 365 days a year, patients receive prompt medical care without an appointment. X-rays, lab tests, and prescription medications are available at each Patient First center, saving time and reducing productivity losses.

From Workplace Injury to Return to Work:

Patient First offers a wide range of Workers’ Compensation services, all with the goal of keeping your employees healthy and getting them back to work safely and efficiently.

  • Full service point-of-entry medical care for workplace injuries
  • Referrals to qualified, in-network specialists, as necessary
  • Post-injury/accident drug and alcohol testing
    • 10-Panel urine sample drug testing
    • 5-Panel urine sample instant drug testing (in VA, PA, and NJ)
    • DOT urine sample drug testing
    • Breath alcohol testing (at designated facilities)
    • Blood and urine alcohol testing

How it Works

Our proprietary software effectively integrates all medical and administrative components to meet employees’ and employers’ needs most efficiently.

  • Before sending employees to Patient First, it is recommended that employers first establish an Industrial Client (IC) account by contacting your local Occupational Health Employer Relations Manager.
  • IC Accounts contain employer-specific instructions for employee injury visits.  These instructions are accessible to every Patient First medical center in the region.
  • Instructions are reviewed at the time employees are examined and treated.
  • Treatment and return-to-work instructions are provided to the employee.
  • Patient First communicates work status information to the employer at the time of, or immediately following, the visit.
