How it Works

Our proprietary software effectively integrates all medical and administrative components to meet employees’ and employers’ needs most efficiently.

  • Before sending employees to Patient First, it is important that employers first establish an Industrial Client (IC) account by contacting your local Occupational Health Sales Manager.
  • IC Accounts contain employer-specific instructions for employee injury visits.  These instructions are accessible to every Patient First medical center in the region.
  • Instructions are reviewed at the time employees are examined and treated.
  • Treatment and return-to-work instructions are provided to the employee.
  • Patient First communicates work status information to the employer at the time of, or immediately following, the visit.
