Patient First has long recognized the importance of maintaining the privacy of our patients’ health information. Before the advent of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), Patient First took steps that were not required by any regulatory body. Now with HIPAA guidelines to follow, Patient First is in full compliance as well as constantly looking for ways to go the extra step to make certain that our patients can have total confidence in the security and privacy of their personal health information.
