Free safety blinkers

Happy Halloween! Patient First wants everyone to enjoy frightful fun this Halloween by providing free safety blinkers and reminding you of some trick-or-treat safety tips. Available while supplies last, the light can be picked up at the front desk of any Patient First center.

Candy X-rays

Patient First will be providing FREE X-rays of Halloween Candy on October 27th – November 1st from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at all of our medical centers. An X-ray may help detect items such as metal, plastic, or glass in candy for your child’s safety and your peace of mind.

Halloween Safety Tips

Here are just a few safety reminders to help ensure you and your trick-or-treaters have an enjoyable experience this year:

  1. Wear bright clothing or reflective gear that includes a Patient First safety blinker.
  2. Know the route that your children will take if you aren’t going with them.
  3. Younger children should go with adults; 4:1 ratio preferred.
  4. Check in with your children at specified intervals.
  5. Have an understood time for everyone to be home.
  6. Explain the difference between a “trick” and “vandalism.” This is also another good opportunity to discuss peer pressure. More often than not, kids participate in acts they know are wrong because a “friend” led the way.
  7. Remember each Patient First Neighborhood Medical Center is providing FREE x-rays of candy from October 27th – November 1st. To find a center near you, please visit our locations page.
