  "Wheels of Wayne" Car Show Returns in 2022

  Wheels of Wayne Car Show Returns in 2022 Radnor Township Parks & Recreation Department in cooperation with the Wayne Business Association brought the 8th Annual “Wheels of Wayne” car show event to downtown Wayne, PA and Patient First was part of the fun again this year as a proud sponsor.  Mother Nature may have threatened the event with thunderstorms on event day, but organizers decided it would be a “go” and they made a perfect call. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon for this family-friendly community event which attracted more than 3,000 attendees and presented nearly 100 vehicles – some vintage, others late model – on display.  With its proximity to our Devon center, this event provided us with a perfect opportunity to talk attendees about the experiences they have had with Patient First, or to learn more about what we do. It was such fun seeing folks enjoying a day out after the pandemic “paused” this event in recent years.  Everyone waited in anticipation for the announcement of the show’s award winners where a 1948 Cadillac Sedanett won “Best in Show.” Other awards ...

  It Was An "Itty Bitty Hat Parade" At The Devon Horse Show

  The Devon Horse Show has been held in late May through early June in Devon, PA since 1896. It is both the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the United States. It is also directly across the street from Patient First's Devon center location. Since we opened our Devon location several years back, we have had a great relationship with the Horse Show organizers and staff, which we have appreciated so much. It is great to be a part of such a prestigious organization, and once again, we were the presenting sponsor for the "Itty Bitty Hat Parade" on the final day of the show, which was also Children's Day. At the event, children decorate hats as a crafting activity, and then they participate in a parade around the fairgrounds. It is such a fun and adorable event, and it has been organized by the same delightful lady and her daughter since we first came on board.   Flying High Following Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Power Of The Pines Air Show

  After a 5-year hiatus, the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Power of the Pines Air Show and Open House weekend returned May 20 and 21, 2023, and Patient First participated for the first time in this enormous two-day event. Although Mother Nature didn't cooperate on the first day of the Show and brought us rain all day, cancelling all flights, the inclement weather didn't dampen the spirits of event goers who came out to enjoy all of the ground features of the event. The second day of the event made up for it with perfect weather and a huge crowd. Estimated attendance over both days was 150,000+ people! The show kicked off with a performance by the U.S, Army Parachute Team, also known at the Golden Knights. It featured members of the New Jersey Army National Guard, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army and Massachusetts National Guard, who flew a variety of planes including tankers, transports and airlift aircrafts.   NAS Oceana Air Show

  After a three year hiatus, Naval Air Station Oceana opened their gates to the public for a riveting air show so loved by the community.  The highly anticipated performance drew in over 330,000 people over the three day weekend; a record breaking number in over 20 years.  The U.S. Navy Blue Angels were the headlining act, accompanied by a number of other flight crews, jet trucks and sky divers. Jet engines roared and exhaust smoke filled the air as the crowd cheered and stood gazing in awe.  Sunshine and clear blue skies created the perfect scene to a showcase of unforgettable performances. Patient First is deeply rooted in the military community and proudly supports our troops .  We were excited to be a part of such an amazing experience and look forward to seeing you all next year!

  Patient First sponsors Devon Horse Show’s “Itty Bitty Hat Parade”

  The “Itty Bitty Hat Parade” at Devon Horse Show & County Fair returned this year, and Patient First was thrilled to be a sponsor once again. This has become a favorite event since it all takes place at the fairgrounds located directly across the street from Patient First’s Devon center. Patient First staff made things extra fun by hosting a table where children enjoyed special horse-themed coloring sheets, while their moms and dads learned more about Patient First’s model and services. At the end of the day, a giant hat parade through the Fairgrounds gave the children the opportunity to show off their newly-decorated hats. It was so fun to see them carry the parade banner as they toured the grounds, past the horses and the amusement and food areas.  As usual, this big event attracted families and children from near and far. Parents were very gracious and happy, and many talked about great experiences they have had at the Devon Center which always make us feel good.

  Allentown St. Patrick’s Day Parade Returns for its 63rd Anniversary Celebration Although the streets of Allentown had been quiet the past two Saint Patrick's Days due to the pandemic, things changed this year. It was exciting to see the return of so many spirited, happy people along the St. Patrick’s Day parade route, and Patient First was thrilled to be a part of the festivities. Folks in Allentown “got their Irish on” during this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, and staff from Patient First’s Allentown center joined in the fun. Although the wind was challenging, and the air had more chill than we’d like on parade day, the sun was shining and the spirits were high. Everybody loves a parade, and a little wind and chilly temperatures didn’t dampen the day at all for us or for all who came out to enjoy this great tradition. It was exciting to be a part of the return of one of the Lehigh Valley’s oldest Irish celebrations, now it its 63rd anniversary year. The parade started with a 5K race, and then circled ...
