  Minor League Baseball Partnerships Patient First partners with local Minor League Baseball teams to provide first aid services to baseball fans during the 2021 baseball season.  Patient First nurses provide first aid at all Norfolk Tides, Richmond Flying Squirrels, and Bowie Baysox home games. If you require first aid, please top by the first aid station at any of the ball parks.  Or, notify a ballpark official and we will be happy to come to you.   The Air Show Returns to Hampton Roads!

  NAS Oceana Naval Base opened their gates to the public this past weekend, as the highly anticipated Air Show returned to Hampton Roads.  The multitude of people that visited the base during this 2 day event could attest to the amount of excitement that was in the air.  Several vendors and food trucks were assembled along the flight line, accompanied by many service men and women who patrolled the area.  From the flight demonstration team to the jump team and jet trucks, there was so much to see and enjoy.  And of course the riveting performance of the Blue Angels concluded what was already an exceptional show! This year's theme paid tribute to 50 years of women in naval aviation.  Since "The First Six" earned their wings of gold, these female pioneers went on to pave the way for so many to follow.  Over the years women have grown to assume numerous roles in aviation.  Their positions play an integral part in strengthening and protecting our nation and are worthy of recognition.   Lehigh Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival Was "Spooktacular"

  It was a "Spooktacular" weekend for a Hot Air Balloon Festival.  This event has been billed the largest fall laser lit hot air balloon, music and glow festival in North America. It has become a premiere family entertainment attraction in Pennsylvania, specifically the Lehigh Valley. We were so excited to be able to participate in this event for the first time, and hope we will be able to return in 2024. It was great fun to meet and greet so many nice people from near and far. The event drew an enormous crowd - on Saturday, in particular, when the weather was most favorable. People came from all over Pennsylvania from Western and Central PA, to Northeastern PA and the Philadelphia area and its suburbs, and many locations in between. We also had many out of state visitors to our tent, many who have had visits to Patient First in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia.   "Wheels of Wayne" Car Show Returns in 2022

  Wheels of Wayne Car Show Returns in 2022 Radnor Township Parks & Recreation Department in cooperation with the Wayne Business Association brought the 8th Annual “Wheels of Wayne” car show event to downtown Wayne, PA and Patient First was part of the fun again this year as a proud sponsor.  Mother Nature may have threatened the event with thunderstorms on event day, but organizers decided it would be a “go” and they made a perfect call. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon for this family-friendly community event which attracted more than 3,000 attendees and presented nearly 100 vehicles – some vintage, others late model – on display.  With its proximity to our Devon center, this event provided us with a perfect opportunity to talk attendees about the experiences they have had with Patient First, or to learn more about what we do. It was such fun seeing folks enjoying a day out after the pandemic “paused” this event in recent years.  Everyone waited in anticipation for the announcement of the show’s award winners where a 1948 Cadillac Sedanett won “Best in Show.” Other awards ...

  It Was An "Itty Bitty Hat Parade" At The Devon Horse Show

  The Devon Horse Show has been held in late May through early June in Devon, PA since 1896. It is both the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the United States. It is also directly across the street from Patient First's Devon center location. Since we opened our Devon location several years back, we have had a great relationship with the Horse Show organizers and staff, which we have appreciated so much. It is great to be a part of such a prestigious organization, and once again, we were the presenting sponsor for the "Itty Bitty Hat Parade" on the final day of the show, which was also Children's Day. At the event, children decorate hats as a crafting activity, and then they participate in a parade around the fairgrounds. It is such a fun and adorable event, and it has been organized by the same delightful lady and her daughter since we first came on board.   NAS Oceana Air Show

  After a three year hiatus, Naval Air Station Oceana opened their gates to the public for a riveting air show so loved by the community.  The highly anticipated performance drew in over 330,000 people over the three day weekend; a record breaking number in over 20 years.  The U.S. Navy Blue Angels were the headlining act, accompanied by a number of other flight crews, jet trucks and sky divers. Jet engines roared and exhaust smoke filled the air as the crowd cheered and stood gazing in awe.  Sunshine and clear blue skies created the perfect scene to a showcase of unforgettable performances. Patient First is deeply rooted in the military community and proudly supports our troops .  We were excited to be a part of such an amazing experience and look forward to seeing you all next year!
