Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley

For the past 15 years, Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley has been providing sports and social activities year-round for hundreds of children and young adults with special needs. The organization was founded on the principles of inclusion, building self-esteem, and that everyone deserves a chance to play baseball … and, they continue to uphold those values today. On Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, it was Trick or Treat Night for the children, and we were so happy to participate in this heartwarming event. We enjoyed seeing the amazing costumes and met some amazing children and their families. Other vendors who participated in this event with us were equally as happy to be there, and we are all already looking forward to returning next year.

Wilson Borough's Centennial Celebration

What an honor it was for Patient First to be invited to join Wilson Borough’s Centennial Celebration. Wilson Borough, in Easton, PA, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020. The pandemic paused the celebration, but it returned October 14 – 16, 2021 in a big way, with food, rides, games, and live music and entertainment for the three days! We were able to join the Friday evening festivities. The community responded, and the weather couldn’t have been nicer for an outdoor Fall event. Organized by Borough Mayor Donald Barrett, Jr. and his team, the event was first-rate and very busy with attendance anticipated at more than 5,000 people from Easton and nearby communities. We enjoyed interacting with local folks, many who had been patients at our center near Meuser Park where this event was held. Organizers tell us they hope an annual Fall Festival will continue in future years … and if it does, you can count on seeing Patient First making a return appearance! It was a great evening.

Fairfax Fall Festival

Pumpkin spice, popcorn, and everything nice! Patient First was excited to participate in the 45th annual Fairfax Fall Festival on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
This event took place in downtown Fairfax and featured over 400 craft booths and displays. Back by popular demand was the lumberjack show and interactive lumberjack camps for the children. The Fairfax Fall Festival included a business expo and Touch-a-Truck expo that allowed children to see and explore City of Fairfax work vehicles and equipment. There was a children’s stage that featured singers, dancers, magicians, carnival rides and face painting as well!

Celtic Classic

Celtic Classic

It’s fun to return for a day each year to the annual Celtic Classic event, and we were glad to be back this year after the pandemic cancelled the event in 2020. Bagpipes, demonstration of athletic prowess, men, women, and children in kilts… this event has it all. The Celtic Classic historically attracts over 280,000 visitors to downtown Historic Bethlehem. More than 600 volunteers made this year’s 34th Annual event a huge success. It was presented by the Celtic Cultural Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Celtic heritage through education, musical presentations, and traditional competitions in athletics, piping and dance. We are already looking forward to returning to this exciting event in 2022!

Carytown Watermelon Festival

Patient First was excited to be out in the community celebrating the 39th Annual Carytown Watermelon Festival in Richmond, Virginia. Festival goers braved the heat to come out and support local businesses and enjoy the arts, crafts, and watermelon. Special thanks to the Patient First staff for helping with this event and all those who stopped by and said hello!
