  Lehigh Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival Was "Spooktacular"

  It was a "Spooktacular" weekend for a Hot Air Balloon Festival.  This event has been billed the largest fall laser lit hot air balloon, music and glow festival in North America. It has become a premiere family entertainment attraction in Pennsylvania, specifically the Lehigh Valley. We were so excited to be able to participate in this event for the first time, and hope we will be able to return in 2024. It was great fun to meet and greet so many nice people from near and far. The event drew an enormous crowd - on Saturday, in particular, when the weather was most favorable. People came from all over Pennsylvania from Western and Central PA, to Northeastern PA and the Philadelphia area and its suburbs, and many locations in between. We also had many out of state visitors to our tent, many who have had visits to Patient First in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia.   PEEPs Helps To Welcome In The New Year In Lehigh Valley

  As 2023 drew to a close, we were happy to return to Bethlehem, PA to join in the fun of the annual PEEPsFest event there. This two-day New Year's eve festival provided lots of fun things for families and children to enjoy all day prior to the event culmination -- the PEEPs "Chick Drop." We were especially happy the event was "hybrid" this year, offering so much activity both indoors and outdoors. Both locations were packed full of people, all out to have a fun time.  Just Born Quality Confections of Bethlehem partnered with the ArtsQuest organization at SteelStacks to once again bring this blockbuster event to the Lehigh Valley. This year both days were sold out, which indicates how popular it has become over the years, drawing some 3,000 participants each day. We have enjoyed participating in this event several times over the years, and were sad when it was paused, and then was held exclusively outdoors during the pandemic. Things returned to normal this year, and there's no doubt it became the largest attended event in its history.  It was such a good feeling ...

  Musikfest Is A Blockbuster Lehigh Valley Event

  Musikfest returned for its 39th year in the Lehigh Valley this year, and we were part of the action again. This 10-day event is the country’s largest free music festival, and draws more than 1 million people to Bethlehem annually. It also provides huge economic impact to the Lehigh Valley area – and estimated $60 million+ each year. Throughout its 10-day run, Musikfest offers hundreds of performances for “Festers ” to enjoy, and almost all of them are free. The only ones requiring tickets are the nightly headliners, which this year included Counting Crows, Ziggy Marley, Willie Nelson, Kelsea Ballerini, and of course, Boys II Men, who headlined Preview Day- our day of participation. Although we are only there for a single day, Musikfest and Arts Quest organizers always go above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming to us. They even joked with us about picking the hottest day of the year to participate, and this year was no exception. Temps hovered near 100-degrees all day. We are already looking forward to returning to this amazing event in 2023.

  Lehigh Valley's Musikfest Celebrates 40th Anniversary

  Musikfest returned for its 40th year in the Lehigh Valley and Patient First was part of the action on "Preview Night" again this year. The Bethlehem, PA event is the country's largest free music festival, and it draws more than 1 million people annually. A record-breaking 1,240,000 people attended Musikfest in 2022, and 2023 attendance will likely be larger. This 10-day festival features more than 500 performances across 16 stages located throughout the city of Bethlehem. It is so much fun and we love being part of the activities each year! Hundreds of performances can be enjoyed by 'Festers' throughout the run of the event, and almost all of the events are free. The only ones that required a purchased ticket are the headliners each evening. On our day at the fair, the band AJR was the headliner and performed to a sold out crowd of 7,000+ people. Although we are only able to be on site for a single day, event organizers, staff and volunteers always go above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming to us, and we couldn't be happier.   Thinking All Things Blue In The Lehigh Valley

  The Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites Organization hosted its 36th annual Blueberry Festival at the beautiful Burnside Plantation in mid-July, and we were pleased to once again be a part of the fun! This event was very busy and featured crafters, artists and vendors; historical and canine demonstrations; live entertainment on two stages; pony rides; contests, games and activities; and, of course, a variety of all things blueberry including pie, ice cream, strudel, and coffee cake, plus blueberry jams and jellies, salsas, syrup, coffee, baking mixes and even blueberry bushes to take home and grow at home. Saturday's event day was a blockbuster! It was very warm and sunny, and we were very busy with lots of people from all over the Lehigh Valley and beyond, stopping by our tent for a free blood pressure check, or to pick up some of our many give away items.. In the spirit of "all things blueberry" we also provided a blueberry muffin recipe, which was a big hit as well.   Minor League Baseball First Aid

  Minor League Baseball Partnerships Patient First partners with local Minor League Baseball teams to provide first aid services to baseball fans during the 2021 baseball season.  Patient First nurses provide first aid at all Norfolk Tides, Richmond Flying Squirrels, and Bowie Baysox home games. If you require first aid, please top by the first aid station at any of the ball parks.  Or, notify a ballpark official and we will be happy to come to you. Patient First and Minor League Baseball make a great team.
