  Fun Times At Allentown's Mayfair Festival Of The Arts

  Mayfair Festival of the Arts has been held in Allentown, PA for more than 30 years, but this was Patient First's first appearance at this big Lehigh Valley event. We are sure glad we joined the Friday night opening festivities for this multi-day Memorial Day weekend event this year! It was held on the beautiful Cedar Crest College campus, which is a nationally registered arboretum with more than 150 kinds of trees. Allentown's West End was filled with fun, funky music and international food and what made our experience there even more fun was the proximity of the college to our Allentown center -- almost walking distance! We couldn't have asked for better weather for opening night to kick off the event and the holiday weekend. There were all kinds of fun, family-friendly activities staged all over the campus for people of all ages to enjoy. Food trucks, craft vendors, artists, and two stages for music and live performances were among the highlights of the event.   Gaithersburg Book Festival

  The City of Gaithersburg held its annual Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 21, which is in close proximity to our Germantown location. Approximately 5,000 people, spanning all ages, came out to support the festival. Since its inception in 2010, the Gaithersburg Book Festival has quickly become one of the nation’s top literary events, attracting award-winning and best-selling authors, poets, and songwriters from across the country. The mission of the festival is to foster an interest in reading, writing and literary conversation. Patient First has been a proud sponsor of the Gaithersburg Book Festival event for over 5 years, and our staff had great engagement and interactions with attendees.

  2023 Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival

  One of the most visually dazzling events of this region's event season returned over the weekend in the form of the Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival. Held on an expansive field in Bird-In Hand, PA, this 4-day event typically draws crowds by the busloads from as far north as Wisconsin, to as far south as Alabama. As a long-time sponsor of this event, our Patient First tent was placed in a prime position-- right at the edge of the vendor fair, as crowds exited and entered the field to witness the nightly balloon glow event, and scheduled balloon ascensions. We also sponsored the festival's corn maze, as well as one of the balloons launched daily. Sadly, the evening winds were just a tad too strong to allow for an evening ascension, but the morning ascensions did go off as planned. In addition to a wide variety of food, games, live entertainment that included bands, magicians, and character shows, this year's festival offered a new feature-- helicopter rides!   Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival

  The Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival returned to downtown Richmond for a weekend of action-packed fun! Held on Brown's Island, the festival celebrates the great outdoors while displaying some of the city's most scenic landmarks and natural resources. Over 1,000 people signed up to participate in a number of events, including bike trail races, kayaking, paddle boarding, slack lining, rock climbing, boulder smashing, and so much more! This year, Patient First enjoyed the festival from a prime location in front of the air dogs show. This was filled with riveting acts from dogs all over, who literally leapt at the opportunity to strut their stuff. The crowds cheered on the pups in amazement! The energy was great, and there was a lot of excitement surrounding this multi-day festival that brought out more than 100,000 people.  Patient First truly enjoyed participating in this festival, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

  Patient First Supports 2nd Annual Asian Festival

  Patient First Supports 2nd Annual Asian Festival Did you know May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month? Patient First was one of the presenting sponsors for the 2nd annual Asian Festival.  Organized by the Old Town Fairfax Business Association to highlight Asian heritage through food, arts, crafts, education and performances, this one-day, outdoor family event spread out across Main Street in Historic Old Town Fairfax City. Patient First staff enjoyed interacting and engaging with many of the estimated 18,000 attendees. The entire event was a great success, and Patient First looks forward to supporting the Asian Festival next year.

  Carytown Watermelon Festival

  Carytown Watermelon Festival Patient First was excited to be out in the community celebrating the 39th Annual Carytown Watermelon Festival in Richmond, Virginia. Festival goers braved the heat to come out and support local businesses and enjoy the arts, crafts, and watermelon.
