  Dominion Energy Riverrock

  The Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival is a beloved event by the Richmond community.  It’s a prime opportunity to showcase the richly historic capital.  Held on Brown’s Island along the banks of the James River, the Riverrock Festival celebrates exploring the outdoors. Slacklining, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain bike riding, rock climbing and the ultimate air dog’s show are just a few of the headlining events.  Thousands of people poured in for the 3-day event filled weekend. The temperature was high and so was the crowd’s energy level.  They stood by in awe as they cheered the participants on.  As a supporter of healthy living and active lifestyles, Patient First was truly excited to participate in such a thrilling event. It was awesome to experience Richmond’s scenic outdoor views and witness the adventurous accomplishments of our peers in the community.  Thank you to our partners at Dominion Riverrock and we look forward to the excitement that 2023 will bring.

  Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival

  The Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival returned to downtown Richmond for a weekend of action-packed fun! Held on Brown's Island, the festival celebrates the great outdoors while displaying some of the city's most scenic landmarks and natural resources. Over 1,000 people signed up to participate in a number of events, including bike trail races, kayaking, paddle boarding, slack lining, rock climbing, boulder smashing, and so much more! This year, Patient First enjoyed the festival from a prime location in front of the air dogs show. This was filled with riveting acts from dogs all over, who literally leapt at the opportunity to strut their stuff. The crowds cheered on the pups in amazement! The energy was great, and there was a lot of excitement surrounding this multi-day festival that brought out more than 100,000 people.  Patient First truly enjoyed participating in this festival, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

  Dominion Energy Christmas Parade

  Making our way downtown on the streets of Richmond, Virginia for the 39th annual Dominion Energy Christmas Parade-- what better way to get you in the holiday spirit than a community coming together to spread a little Christmas cheer! Patient First was excited to be one of 93 parade participants involved this year.  Our wonderful staff came out to volunteer their time and assist with carrying  the giant Abby Cadabby balloon.  Abby is a fairy in training from Sesame Street that was 35 feet long.  This required a bit of determination and a lot of teamwork, especially with an unfavorable forecast. Rain was predicted to begin right before the start of the parade and continue until early afternoon.  With fingers crossed and high hopes for sunshine, the weather did exactly what it said it would.  Parade goers lined the streets with tents, ponchos and umbrellas, cheering us on as we made a splash down the over two mile parade route. Despite the rain, we were still able to have a fun, and memorable experience.  We cannot wait to see what's in store for year ...

  Family Fun Times in Woodbury, New Jersey

  FAF Coalition / Lot 323 Brings Fun to Woodbury Community We participated in the FAF Coalition/Lot 323 event in Woodbury, NJ previously a few years ago, and it has always been a fun time with large attendance. Our return to the event his year was so much fun. It is amazing to see great things happening on summer Friday evenings, all organized and hosted by a group of outstanding volunteers who bring together food, games for children and families, music, vendors of all types … including us!  The FAF Coalition champions initiatives rich in arts, culture, and sustainable design as a catalyst for community development and economic revitalization. It executes those initiatives by creating engaging places and innovative experiences that transform the lives of the community, like the Lot 323 event. It was great to be part of all of the fun on Friday evenings, and we are already looking forward to participating again.

  Hanover Township Independence Day Event Was Spectacular

  The Hanover Township Independence Day event was just that ... Spectacular! We kicked off the Fourth of July holiday weekend by returning to one of our favorite event locations in the Lehigh Valley – Hanover Township Park at the Hanover Township Community Center in Bethlehem, PA. Even though thunderstorms were in the forecast, Mother Nature was kind to us and we enjoyed a great outdoor event that was warm, sunny and dry.  This location is literally right down the street from our Bethlehem center and we have enjoyed many events there over the years. Each time we return they welcome Patient First back with friendly, open arms. Patient First was the first sponsor to return to the Community Center as things opened up after forced shut-downs due to the pandemic. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity we'll have to participate in an event at there.

  "Wheels of Wayne" Event Celebrates 9th Anniversary

  This year marked the 9th anniversary for people to cruise on in for this annual car show in downtown Wayne, PA. Patient First has participated in the event several times over the years, and it has become one of our favorites near our Devon center. As a sponsor, we have enjoyed interacting with the local community, and the many others who traveled from out of the area to enjoy a fun-filled day. Originally slated for Saturday, April 30, inclement weather prevailed and the event was moved to it's May 7th rain date. This was such a great call, since Mother Nature smiled upon us and delivered a beautiful day with bright sunshine and temperatures in the mid-70s. Large crowds came out to enjoy the day, and all of the new, antique, classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles that were on display on two streets in Wayne. In addition to the many vendors, there was entertainment of all sorts, food and beverages, prizes and more for the whole family to enjoy. Radnor Township organizes this event with the Wayne Business Association each year. Tammy ...
