  CORE Foundation Health and Wellness Fair

  CORE Foundation held its inaugural Health and Wellness Fair in conjunction with the Reston Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, June 4. CORE Foundation uses the triathlon as a means to raise charitable funds to support a variety of projects, which are called CORE Causes, in the community ranging from food insecurity and youth empowerment. This year the Health and Wellness Fair took place at Lake Newport Pool in Reston, VA. Over 700 athletes registered this year’s event. Staff from Patient First came out to participate in the Health and Wellness Fair, handing out promotional items, interacting with patients and some who were unfamiliar with our services. To top it off, the weather was immaculate! We look forward to supporting future CORE Foundation events!

  Patient First Sponsors Community Youth Advance 5k Run

  Since 2018, Community Youth Advance has hosted an annual “A Mother’s Love 5K Run” that has brought families out from all across the Greater DC region for a fun and engaging 5K to promote health, wellness and community. Community Youth Advance is dedicated to advancing the academic, social, and career opportunities of boys and girls by providing them and their families, with academic enrichment, mentorship, college prep assistance and access to career training. Community Youth Advance provides comprehensive educational and character-based programming for students in grades K-12. More than 200 participants gathered on Saturday, May 14 from all over the Greater DC region for the 5k run. After the run there was music, games, entertainment and a photo booth for participants to enjoy.  Patient First, a proud supporter of Community Youth Advance and their mission to help youth in the community, was excited to be a part of such a great cause.

  Youth Athletics Partnerships

  Youth Athletics Partnerships Patient First is proud to support local youth athletic organizations that encourage healthy and active lifestyles. We partner with youth and school sports organizations engaging in a variety of sports:  baseball, basketball, football, soccer, swimming, and more. In 2021, Patient First is partnering with over 60 individual sports leagues across the Mid-Atlantic, impacting the lives of thousands of children.   It Was A Super Sunday In Allentown

  Each year since 2017, one of our first events of the new year has been in the Lehigh Valley. This year was no exception. Patient First was delighted to return as a sponsor for "Super Sunday" at the Jewish Community Center in Allentown, PA. This community center is just a two-minute drive from our Allentown center, so the relationship we have established over the years has been a great one for all involved. The facility is fantastic! They run a full-service community center with a gym, a pool, a pre-school and all sorts of family friendly and educational opportunities for all ages. The center is open year-round, and provides a valuable service to Allentown's "West End" community, as well as folks from across the Lehigh Valley. Everyone is welcome! The Super Sunday event attracted hundreds of adults, children and families who participated in a day full of activities, and each had an opportunity to visit with our Patient First staff. Event organizers set us up in a prime location just inside the front doors. We literally got to interact with everyone who walked through the doors during the day. ...

  Patient First Sponsors Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon

  It was a beautiful day with perfect weather for a youth triathlon on a Saturday morning in Ashburn, Virginia. Hundreds of youth athletes from the ages 6 to 15 gathered in the Ashburn community for the multisport race which included swimming in the Lakes Rec Center outdoor pool, biking around the neighborhood, and running on a marked course starting and ending at The Lakes Rec Center. As the participants finished the race, they all received a ribbon and were congratulated by their family and friends. Staff from Patient First came out to engage with the public by handing out promotional items and spoke about services that Patient First offers. We even snagged a picture at the finish line. The entire event was a great success and our staff had great engagement and interactions with attendees.

  Patient First Recognized with Community Healthcare Hero Award

  Patient First Recognized with Community Healthcare Hero Award  On July 26th, 2021, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce celebrated first responders, citizens and the healthcare community for going above the call of duty at the 36th Annual Loudoun Valor Awards.  Michelle Marsh, from 7News DC was the emcee of the event.  Patient First one of the healthcare businesses of Loudoun County recognized with the “Community Healthcare Hero Award” for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Other healthcare businesses that were recognized were: Inova Hospital, HCA Healthcare, LMG Doctors, and Loudoun Free Clinic.
