  Earth Day Fairfax 2023: Healthy People, Healthy Planet

  Patient First was delighted to once again serve as a sponsor of the 2023 Fairfax County Earth Day event, organized by the esteemed Clean Fairfax Council. The theme of this year's annual Earth Day Fairfax was, "Healthy People, Healthy Planet". This annual celebration of our planet's natural beauty and resources has continued to gain momentum each year, attracting a staggering attendance of over 10,000 passionate and environmentally-conscious residents. With more than 75 vendors, exhibitors, and delectable food trucks on site, the event was truly a feast for the senses. Patient First is honored to have had the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful and impactful event, and eagerly looks forward to future collaborations in support of our community's shared commitment to sustainability and preservation. We look forward to returning to Earth Day Fairfax next year!

  Health First: George Mason University Health and Fitness Expo

  Patient First was delighted to once again be a proud sponsor and vendor at the highly anticipated George Mason University Health and Fitness Expo, taking place on Thursday, March 23. This year's expo was an exciting and engaging event, featuring a wide array of vendors, a cook-off, DJ with music, free smoothies, most importantly, free health screenings. Attendees had the opportunity to receive blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar screenings, as well as HIV testing- all of which are crucial in promoting disease prevention and encouraging a healthier lifestyle. In addition to the screenings, the expo served as a platform for introducing George Mason University faculty, staff, and students to valuable resources within their community that can help them live a healthier life. By showcasing the latest in health and fitness trends, and promoting wellness through interaction and engagement, the George University Health and Fitness Expo underscores Patient First's commitment to helping people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. We look forward to attending the George Mason University Health and Fitness Expo next year!

  CORE Foundation Super Hero Youth Triathlon

  CORE Foundation held its annual Super Hero Youth Triathlon on Sunday, July 31. Patient First was a proud sponsor of the event and attended the packet pick up on Saturday, July 30. CORE Foundation uses the triathlon as a means to raise charitable funds to support a variety of projects, which are called CORE Causes, in the community ranging from food insecurity and youth empowerment. This year the Super Hero Youth Triathlon consisted of swimming, biking and running which took place at Ridge Heights Pool in Reston, VA. Over 600 athletes registered this year’s event. Staff from Patient First came out to support the event, handing out promotional items, interacting with patients and some who were unfamiliar with our services. We look forward to continue to partner with CORE Foundation for future events.

  Burlington County Farm Fair Provides Fun For All

  The Burlington County Farm Fair in South Jersey has become a legacy event for Patient First, with our participation spanning the years. It was great to be back again this year! The fair's mission is to promote agriculture, social life, and youth, as well as educating the general public by conducting a yearly agricultural fair with exhibits, livestock and farm products. Located on the beautiful Burlington County Fairgrounds in Springfield Township, NJ, the Fair offered a variety of activities to the thousands of visitors that attended. The location of the Fairgrounds is about midway between our Delran and Hamilton Patient First centers, and it draws people from all over New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's a big deal in South Jersey, and we always have fun being there. Historically, Fair Week has been one of the hottest weeks of the year, and Mother Nature didn't disappoint this year, either.   The Maryland State Fair

  It's the unofficial sendoff to  summer, and tens of thousands of people took part in the fun at the Maryland State Fair at the Timonium Fairgrounds the weekend of September 3rd & 4th. This was Patient First's first year participating in this 141 year tradition, and by all accounts it was a resounding success! Positioned right at the mouth of the midway, our Patient First was the first thing to greet the more than 100 thousand  who passed through the turnstiles. Fairgoers loaded their Patient First bags with hand sanitizer, band-aids, hot/cold packs, pens, post-it's, along with wooden planes and yo-yo's for the kids right out of the gate as they began their day. The event attracted patients from as far south as Fairfax, VA, and York, PA to the north. Nearly everyone who stopped by were familiar with both our brand and our services, and had wonderful things to say about our staff.   Judge S. Woods Elementary School Mental Health Expo

  Patient First Supports School's Mental Health Expo Judge S. Woods Elementary School held its inaugural Mental Health Expo on Thursday, May 26th, which is in close proximity to our Landover Hills location. Hundreds of students, parents and teachers came out to participate.. The entire event was a great success with local health organizations coming together and providing health resources. During the event, they had a DJ, blood pressure screenings, Zumba and yoga classes, and other fun engaging health activities. As a proud community partner and supporter of healthy living, Patient First was thrilled to participate in the Expo and their mission to help students and staff with their mental health.
