  Harford County Family Resource Fair

  The Harford County Department of Community Services held its 3rd biennial Family Resource Festival on Saturday, April 9th. About 1,000 people ranging in age from 86 years to 8 months flocked to the APG Federal Credit Union at Harford County Community College to learn about a host of services and programs serving the Harford County area. In addition to the information and materials available to parents, there were also Tae-Kwon Do exhibitions and appearances by characters like Mario, Bluey, and even Darth Vader and his Imperial Guard to keep the kids entertained. Patient First was a proud sponsor of the event, and our staff had many great interactions with attendees, all very familiar with our brand and quality of care. One person even recounted how the staff at the Bel Air center saved his eye, after getting a screwdriver lodged in it following a workplace accident!

  Earth Day Fairfax 2023: Healthy People, Healthy Planet

  Patient First was delighted to once again serve as a sponsor of the 2023 Fairfax County Earth Day event, organized by the esteemed Clean Fairfax Council. The theme of this year's annual Earth Day Fairfax was, "Healthy People, Healthy Planet". This annual celebration of our planet's natural beauty and resources has continued to gain momentum each year, attracting a staggering attendance of over 10,000 passionate and environmentally-conscious residents. With more than 75 vendors, exhibitors, and delectable food trucks on site, the event was truly a feast for the senses. Patient First is honored to have had the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful and impactful event, and eagerly looks forward to future collaborations in support of our community's shared commitment to sustainability and preservation. We look forward to returning to Earth Day Fairfax next year!

  The Maryland State Fair

  It's the unofficial sendoff to  summer, and tens of thousands of people took part in the fun at the Maryland State Fair at the Timonium Fairgrounds the weekend of September 3rd & 4th. This was Patient First's first year participating in this 141 year tradition, and by all accounts it was a resounding success! Positioned right at the mouth of the midway, our Patient First was the first thing to greet the more than 100 thousand  who passed through the turnstiles. Fairgoers loaded their Patient First bags with hand sanitizer, band-aids, hot/cold packs, pens, post-it's, along with wooden planes and yo-yo's for the kids right out of the gate as they began their day. The event attracted patients from as far south as Fairfax, VA, and York, PA to the north. Nearly everyone who stopped by were familiar with both our brand and our services, and had wonderful things to say about our staff.   2023 Maryland State Fair

  For our second year, Patient First returned to the Timonium Fairgrounds to help take part in the long-standing rite of summer send off, the Maryland State Fair. And just like last year, the excitement and enthusiasm was as high as the temperatures! As a sponsor of this 142 year institution celebrating all things Maryland, our Patient First tent was placed smack dab in front of patrons as they came through the front gate. There, we greeted everyone as they came by to say glowing things about our service, our staff, and the cleanliness of our centers. In addition to the prime booth location, our logo was showcased all around the fairgrounds, not just as a fair sponsor, but on every hand washing station, demonstrating proper hand washing techniques. We were also featured on a large backlit sign facing the primary exit of the 4H Exhibition Hall, one of the complex's most traveled (and well air conditioned) buildings.   Fairfax Fall Festival

  Fairfax Fall Festival Pumpkin spice, popcorn, and everything nice! Patient First was excited to participate in the 45th annual Fairfax Fall Festival on Saturday, October 9, 2021.  This event took place in downtown Fairfax and featured over 400 craft booths and displays. Back by popular demand was the lumberjack show and interactive lumberjack camps for the children. The Fairfax Fall Festival included a business expo and Touch-a-Truck expo that allowed children to see and explore City of Fairfax work vehicles and equipment. There was a children’s stage that featured singers, dancers, magicians, carnival rides and face painting as well!

  The Great Allentown Fair Never Disappoints

  The Great Allentown Fair celebrated its 171st anniversary at the Allentown Fairgrounds this year, and Patient First was part of the fun as a sponsor. The Fairgrounds location is very close to our Allentown center, and it has a big draw from throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond each year. We were delighted to hear so many positive comments about patient experiences in our Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Wyomissing centers, as well as from folks who visited from even farther away including Central Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Maryland. This event never disappoints. The Fair has been a Labor Day weekend tradition, and it always has a little something for everyone to enjoy, from livestock to amusement rides, concerts, games, contests, food and so much more. We love returning to this event each year as a sponsor, and we are especially happy that Mother Nature gave us perfect weather for our participation in this year's event as she did in 2021.
