  Towson Town Spring Festival

  Spring has sprung, and there was plenty of evidence that people were ready to emerge from not just the winter, but the pandemic as well, at this year's Towson Town Spring Festival! Encompassing five square blocks in the heart of Towson, this two day event is one of the largest outdoor events of the year for the community, as it made its return for the first time since 2019. An estimated 90,000 people lined the streets to take in the sights, sounds, and services of the community. The staff of the Patient First center in Towson came out to participate in the Festival, handing out promotional items, and interacting with both former patients, and a few who were unfamiliar with our services. Plenty of those who stopped by our table took the time to say thank you for the care and efficiency with which our doctors, nurses and support staff helped them through their emergencies. Some storm clouds might have washed out the last 90 minutes of the second day for the festival, but it didn't dampen the experience of anyone ...

  Hanover Township Festival

  Hanover Township Festival After being closed for nearly a year and a half, Bethlehem’s Hanover Township Community Center recently re-opened, and their first event back – Hanover Township Fall Festival, a pirate-themed event – was a huge success. As the first “returning sponsor” as the facility reopened, we earned a premier spot in the midst of all the fun. Our tent was a popular one and our giveaways flew off our table. We enjoyed lots of excellent conversations with folks from throughout the Lehigh Valley – Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.  Mother Nature even cooperated by providing perfect weather for an outdoor Fall event. There are more fun, family-friendly events planned at the Community Center in the weeks and months ahead, and Patient First is looking forward to being part of them! It is such a pleasure to be good neighbors with such a great community organization that is just a short drive from our Bethlehem center.

  Maryland Seafood Festival 2023

  The 2023 Maryland Seafood Festival came a little earlier this year than in years past, and at a different location. What remained the same though, was the fun, the food, and the festive atmosphere that have kept crowds coming for 57 years! This year, the festival moved from its traditional location, and came to City Dock in Annapolis, just a stone's throw from the Naval Academy and the State House. Crowds were literally lining up at the gate, which was directly in front of the Patient First tent bringing each and every one of the thousands of ticket holders past our booth. We had scores of great conversations with people from all over the Delmarva region, who thanked us for the service we provided them, and loved how clean and organized the centers were. We also had quite a few people from western Maryland, the eastern shore, North Carolina and New York, who while unfamiliar with what we do, were very interested in having us expand into their hometowns.   Hanover Tomato Festival 2023

  It was a great celebration of Hanover's favorite fruit, as the community gathered together for the annual Hanover Tomato Festival 2023.  Over 12,000 pounds of juicy, ripe tomatoes were packaged and delivered to Pole Green Park for the two day, event filled weekend.  Festival goers were able to purchase tomatoes by the bag or by the box.  From signature tomato-themed dishes to tomato incorporated games, it was apparent that these were certainly a crowd favorite.  With nearly 150 vendors in attendance, a kid zone, a live band, and a DJ, there was definitely something for everyone. Patient First was excited to join this beloved festival that has been a long time tradition for so many local families.  Many patrons stopped by our tent to get their free blood pressure checks, along with some Patient First swag.  We were happy to share some fun facts on the health benefits of tomatoes with the community.  Not only does this juicy fruit taste great, but its also good for you!   Towson 4th of July Parade 2023

  It was a pageant of patriotism on display in Towson, as a tradition that's played out for over 120 years continued in Tuesday's Towson 4th of July Parade! Put on every year by the Towson Chamber of Commerce, Patient First has long been a proud sponsor of the event. Last year, we had seven staffers march along the parade route winding through the streets of downtown Towson, past the courthouse and two reviewing stands. This year, that number more than doubled with 15 staffers coming out to celebrate the holiday with us! Just as it happened last year, before we knew it, we'd marched past the thousands who'd lined the streets of the route, and our smiling and waving amidst the shouts of "We love Patient First," and "Thank you, Patient First," came to an end. Everyone who came out to help represent us said they'd love to come back next year, and many want to bring their kids out to help along with us!

  Carytown Watermelon Festival

  Carytown Watermelon Festival Patient First was excited to be out in the community celebrating the 39th Annual Carytown Watermelon Festival in Richmond, Virginia. Festival goers braved the heat to come out and support local businesses and enjoy the arts, crafts, and watermelon.
