  Neptune Festival

  2021 Neptune Festival This past weekend, Patient First teamed up with the Neptune Festival to support its annual event in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The Neptune Festival is held on the boardwalk and is family focused and attracts people from all over.  With its debut in the 1970’s, the festival was created in an effort to celebrate the heritage of the city.  Live entertainment, vendors, a parade and the Sand Sculpting Championship were the main attractions that thousands of patrons gathered to see.  With mild weather, calm winds and a very attractive beach vibe, you couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

  Gaithersburg Book Festival

  The City of Gaithersburg held its annual Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 21, which is in close proximity to our Germantown location. Approximately 5,000 people, spanning all ages, came out to support the festival. Since its inception in 2010, the Gaithersburg Book Festival has quickly become one of the nation’s top literary events, attracting award-winning and best-selling authors, poets, and songwriters from across the country. The mission of the festival is to foster an interest in reading, writing and literary conversation. Patient First has been a proud sponsor of the Gaithersburg Book Festival event for over 5 years, and our staff had great engagement and interactions with attendees.

  Beach FC Soccer Tournament

  Beach FC Soccer Tournament Beach FC hosted their annual Columbus Day Tournament over the weekend.  Over 200 teams from all over Virginia and surrounding states travelled to the Hampton Roads Sports Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The complex has 19 soccer fields spread out on over 75 acres of land.    With one game after another on each field, teams and families were constantly flowing in and out.   Many patrons were excited to see Patient First in attendance and stopped by the tent for some promotional items.  Patient First is a proud supporter of the Beach FC soccer programs and always enjoys being a part of community happenings.  We are looking forward to participating in more soccer tournaments in the future.   See more news and event photos here.

  A Memorable Weekend at the Neptune Festival

  As a sponsor of the renowned Neptune Festival, Patient First embarked on an unforgettable experience that left us inspired and motivated.  The festival, held annually was cancelled in 2022 due to hazardous weather conditions, so everyone was excited to welcome it back this year.  Although the weather started off rocky, by the end of the 3 day weekend we were met with light wind and sunshine for an overall exciting experience.  The Virginia Beach oceanfront is the home of this event that continues to bring together a diverse range of businesses and individuals creating an atmosphere of celebration and community. The festival went on for several blocks to include vendors, food trucks and the highly anticipated sand sculpture tent.  The captivating art displays by so many talented artist was an amazing sight to see.  In addition, there were live music performances, a parade, and other fun activities, so there was never a dull moment.  Engaging with festival goers was a highlight of our experience.  Everyone was excited that Patient First was in attendance.  Many of the attendees shared stories about ...

  Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival

  The Dominion Energy Riverrock Festival returned to downtown Richmond for a weekend of action-packed fun! Held on Brown's Island, the festival celebrates the great outdoors while displaying some of the city's most scenic landmarks and natural resources. Over 1,000 people signed up to participate in a number of events, including bike trail races, kayaking, paddle boarding, slack lining, rock climbing, boulder smashing, and so much more! This year, Patient First enjoyed the festival from a prime location in front of the air dogs show. This was filled with riveting acts from dogs all over, who literally leapt at the opportunity to strut their stuff. The crowds cheered on the pups in amazement! The energy was great, and there was a lot of excitement surrounding this multi-day festival that brought out more than 100,000 people.  Patient First truly enjoyed participating in this festival, and we look forward to seeing you all next year!

  Havre De Grace Ice Festival

  On Saturday, February 3rd, the town of Havre De Grace hosted their annual Havre De Grace Ice Festival. 50 beautifully crafted and polished sculptures hewn from blocks of ice adorned the streets of town, creating a festive atmosphere amidst the doldrums of winter. In addition to the outdoor sights, the festival also hosts a vendor fair and children's play area inside the STAR Centre, formerly Havre De Grace High School. The facility features a gymnasium that hosted the vendor fair with character appearances, as well as two large bounce houses for kids to frolic about. The Centre's auditorium played host for the "Elsa and Friends" character show, as well as a "Jurassic Kingdom" presentation for children and adults alike. To top off the afternoon and evening's events, the festival featured a bit of wintry fire, by holding a chili cookoff, with more than a dozen entries from local restaurants and food service providers.
