Beach FC Soccer Tournament
Beach FC hosted their annual Columbus Day Tournament over the weekend. Over 200 teams from all over Virginia and surrounding states travelled to the Hampton Roads Sports Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The complex has 19 soccer fields spread out on over 75 acres of land. With one game after another on each field, teams and families were constantly flowing in and out. Many patrons were excited to see Patient First in attendance and stopped by the tent for some promotional items. Patient First is a proud supporter of the Beach FC soccer programs and always enjoys being a part of community happenings. We are looking forward to participating in more soccer tournaments in the future.

Beach FC Soccer Tournament Beach FC is a respected soccer club in the Hampton Roads area. Their dedication and commitment to shaping the future of our youth, demonstrates their value to our community. On Saturday, March 19 they kicked off their 2022 season with an annual Soccer Tournament. More than 200 teams from all over Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina gathered at the Hampton Roads Sports Complex to compete. As a longtime partner, Patient First was excited to join them and witness the excitement.
North American Sand Soccer Championships
The North American Sand Soccer Championships kicked off their 2022 tournament on Friday June 10th. This three day event at the Virginia Beach oceanfront was loaded with high levels of intensity and excitement. 720 teams came together to compete in the nation’s largest event of its kind. Thousands of people traveled from near and far to join in and witness the action. The Patient First team was proud to support the North American Sand Soccer Championships as they continue to do great things for our community. It is with great pride that we congratulate all participants who competed this past weekend on a job well done!
Virginia Beach Funk Festival
Beach Events kicked off their annual Funk Festival at the Virginia Beach oceanfront on 24th Street. For 12 years, this exciting festival has brought people together for a weekend of music and fun. We know the saying that music is medicine for the soul. Inspired by several genres of music, funk's rhythmic pattern makes dancing hard to resist. People lined the boardwalk, grooving to music while stopping by the Patient First tent to collect free promotional items. With good weather and good vibes, Patient First was happy to participate in this electrifying event. We had a great time, and look forward to seeing you all next year!
Neptune Festival
2021 Neptune Festival This past weekend, Patient First teamed up with the Neptune Festival to support its annual event in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Neptune Festival is held on the boardwalk and is family focused and attracts people from all over. With its debut in the 1970’s, the festival was created in an effort to celebrate the heritage of the city. Live entertainment, vendors, a parade and the Sand Sculpting Championship were the main attractions that thousands of patrons gathered to see. With mild weather, calm winds and a very attractive beach vibe, you couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.
Water Lantern Festival
On Saturday, August 6th the 2022 Water Lantern Festival was held at Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Thousands of people came together to experience unity in the community that was moving, yet uplifting. People channeled their creative side working effortlessly to design water lanterns that were meaningful to them. Many people listed their dreams and aspirations whiles others took time to commemorate the loss of a loved one. Some participants were brave enough to get up on stage and share their personal stories. As night fell, everyone headed to the lake to release their lanterns which is symbolic to releasing peace, hope and happiness. For years Patient First has aided in healing the community through the services provided at our medical centers. We were proud to support an event that brought healing and community connection outside of the healthcare setting. Although the event just concluded, we are already looking forward to next year.
Chalk the Walk
Chalk the Walk returned to Virginia Beach this weekend for a colorful, creative, cartoon pals themed event. Several local artist and aspiring artist gathered on the boardwalk creating murals of artwork along the pavement. All registered participants competed for a trophy and a cash prize. Others stopped by to join in the fun by drawing pictures of their choice. Patient First was blown away by the mere talent of all the participants. What an awesome way to bring unity to the community!
