Dr. Vincent Johnston joined Patient First in 1995 as a staff physician. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in microbiology at the University of Kansas, and he earned a medical doctorate degree in 1991 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Johnston began his post-graduate training at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, before going on active duty with the U.S. Navy in June of 1992. He served as a part-time Patient First staff physician during his time with the Navy and became a full-time staff physician in 1996 after completing his tour of duty with the Navy. He completed a residency in family practice at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in June of 2001. Dr. Johnston is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
