Dr. Everette Lafon Jr. joined Patient First as a staff physician in February of 2017. Dr. Lafon received a Bachelor of Science degree from Christian Brothers College in Memphis, Tennessee, and he received a medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. He also received a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed an internship in surgery at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a residency in aerospace medicine at the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine in Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, and a residency in emergency medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Lafon is retired from the United States Air Force, and he is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Aerospace Medicine.
