Dr. Tarsha Darden joined Patient First as a staff physician in January of 2018. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and she received a medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to receive a Master of Science degree in applied health informatics from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed a residency in family medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School/Portsmouth Family Medicine. Dr. Darden is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is also board certified in Clinical Informatics and Obesity Medicine.
