Dr. Tarsha Darden joined Patient First as a staff physician in January of 2018. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and she received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Darden also received her Master of Science degree in applied health informatics from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School/Portsmouth Family Medicine in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Darden is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
