Dr. Paul Scanlan originally joined Patient First as a staff physician from 2015-2020, and returned in June of 2021. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and he received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Scanlan also received his Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and he completed a residency in occupational medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Scanlan is board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine with a certificate in Occupational Medicine.
