Dr. Igor Voronetsky joined Patient First as a staff physician in 2000. He is an alumnus of the First Moscow Medical Institute in Russia, where he received a medical degree in 1972 and completed a clinical residency. Dr. Voronetsky practiced and taught in the field of oncology for 6 years before earning his Ph.D. degree in oncology at the Moscow P.A. Hertzen Oncological Institute in Russia. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medical Sciences in radiology in 1989 from the Moscow Radiology Institute. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore in 1999 and is certified by The National Board of Physicians and Surgeons in internal medicine. Dr. Voronetsky is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
