York Enchanted Fairy Festival 2026

This past weekend marked the fifth year that the Patient First tent reappeared like Brigadoon for the annual York Enchanted Fairy Festival! Always one of the more colorful events on our calendar, this one-day event brings in people from the northern MD and Central PA region, quite often in fanciful costume, to celebrate a day of magic, fantasy, and fun!

Held at Springettsbury Park in York, less than two miles from our York center, our setup included a second table, where kids could come and build fairy houses out of cardboard tubes, construction paper, markers, and glitter, while we talked to parents and offered free blood pressure checks and our usual promotional items. The parents were happy to see that we provided this free opportunity for their kids to be creative, while we talked to the parents about our services. While we only had seven people take advantage of the free BP checks, our staff had 65 families come over to make fairy houses!

We spoke to over 100 families throughout the course of the day, hearing wonderful things about their experiences at our York, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Bel Air, Towson, Lutherville, White Marsh, and Perry Hall centers. Between the conversations, the parades, the music, food, and storytelling, it was truly a magical day for both the patrons and our staff!
