Welcoming The Holiday Season 2025 in Bethlehem, PA

The Hanover Township Community Center’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Bethlehem on December 5th once again literally up the neighborhood, and we were proud to be part of this cherished community tradition. We love doing events at this community center, since it is literally only about a mile from our Patient First Bethlehem location.  This festive evening drew hundreds of visitors of all ages for a night filled with music, lights, laughter, and holiday spirit. It was a bitter cold evening which kept most activities indoors (hooray!), except for the outdoor grill which provided an opportunity for toasting marshmallows and hot dogs, and of course the giant Christmas tree for the actual flipping of the switch to turn on the holiday lights.

What’s extra nice about the event at this location is that so many people thank us for being consistently present for events at the Community Center, and in their local community. That kind of loyalty and recognition speaks volumes, and makes us very happy to be such an active part of the community.

The celebration offered a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor festivities. Highlights included photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, an indoor snowball battle, crafts, free popcorn provided by local boy scouts organization, and so much more filling the center with holiday cheer. The outdoor tree lighting, accompanied by a chorus of oohs and ahhs, was the focal point of the night, of course.

New to the event this year was a Christmas wreath give-away (300 total) from a new community partner. A local middle school band serenaded the crowd with lots of familiar Christmas music, putting everyone in the holiday spirit for sure. Oh what fun we had!
