Rain Or Shine, The Celtic Classic Games Go On In Bethlehem

A little rain and chilly, windy weather didn’t dampen the spirit at this year’s Celtic Classic in Historic Downtown Bethlehem!

Patient First was proud to return as a longtime participant in this impressive annual tradition, one of the largest Celtic festivals and Highland Games in North America. Each year, the Celtic Classic draws enormous crowds to Bethlehem to watch elite athletes from across the country compete in traditional Highland Games, while enjoying Celtic music, entertainment, food and, of course, plenty of kilts.

Behind it all is a tremendous team of volunteers whose hard work helps bring this massive celebration to life year after year.

This year, Mother Nature added an extra challenge. A rainy start gave way to bitter cold and wind, but the games went on and dedicated fans bundled up and came out to cheer on the competitors.

Throughout the day, visitors from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey any beyond stopped by our Patient First tent. Many recognized us immediately and shared stories about their great experiences at our centers. Other folks stopped by to thank us for showing up and participating despite the weather.

As a longtime event participant, Patient First is always warmly welcomed by the Celtic Classic team, with a terrific location that puts us right in the middle of the action. It’s one of the many reasons we look forward to returning each year.

The weather may have been chilly, but the reception was anything but.

Rain or shine, we were proud to be there, and we can’t wait to do it again next year! Over the years, Celtic Classic has become one of our most favorite events of the year.
