Thanks to the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, we had an opportunity to participate in a unique wellness expo at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. This large venue was a great location and close to our Collegeville center, so we were excited to be invited to be a part of the fun.
The event theme was “Mind, Body, Business, Kids, Pets & YOU,” and it surely delivered on that promise! The Expo featured a wide range of participants from yoga studios, health coaches, and financial advisors, to pet services, counseling centers, fitness organizations and much more! We were excited to provide blood pressure checks throughout the day, which we always enjoy doing at community events.
The Chamber of Commerce ensured that the event was well promoted, too, with a strong mix of promotional advertising (print, billboards, and social media) helping draw in a steady flow of attendees throughout the day.
Events like this are especially meaningful and give us an opportunity to speak directly to a receptive audience of adult healthcare consumers and decision-makers. Although this was truly a family-friendly event, we appreciate the ability to have direct face time with adults who always have lots of great questions ranging from what we treat in our centers, to our hours, our ability to be a primary care provider, insurance questions and so much more. It was time well spent with lots of happy people who visited with us, and picked up some of our great give-away items.
We are already excited to see what next year’s event will bring!
