Keystone Villa Hosts Blockbuster Community Health Fair In Douglassville, PA

We love event opportunities in the communities we serve, especially new ones– like the one we participated in recently at Keystone Villa at Douglassville’s Community Health Fair. It was a blockbuster event with 70 vendors participating…including us! While this was their fourth annual event, it was our first time to participate, and we are sure glad we did.

The nicest people always participate in events like this – attendees and vendors, alike.

Throughout the day, participants explored local health and wellness resources, enjoyed snacks, and connected with providers, including us. It was a busy day from start to finish, and it was a lot of fun too!

What stood out most were the many conversations we had throughout the day. Many residents were already familiar with Patient First, sharing positive experiences from before and after moving to Keystone Villa. We heard enthusiastic praise for our nearby centers in Wyomissing and Pottstown, which are both convenient for Douglassville residents, as well as shout-outs to several other Patient First locations throughout the region.

This audience was a perfect fit for us, as well. Seniors and, in many cases, their adult children stopped by to learn more, share stories, pick up swag, and take advantage of complimentary blood pressure checks (several times during the day a line formed by folks awaiting their opportunity to have their BPs checked). We made countless meaningful connections with the facility’s residents, and with many of the other vendors on site.

We are hopeful to get invited out to participate in similar events like this, and in similar facilities like this throughout the area. It’s a “win” for everyone!
