Patient First was proud to sponsor Health and Wellness Day at the Norfolk Tides’ home baseball game on June 14 at Harbor Park. This community-focused event brought together numerous healthcare providers, wellness organizations, and local partners with a shared goal of promoting healthier lifestyles and increasing access to valuable health resources.
As part of the event, Patient First welcomed fans, stadium staff, and community members to its table to learn more about the wide range of services available, including urgent care, primary care, routine and sports physicals, preventive screenings, and everyday healthcare needs.
Throughout the day, the Patient First team had the opportunity to engage with attendees by answering questions, providing educational materials, and discussing the importance of preventive care and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Team members emphasized how establishing healthy habits and seeking timely medical attention can help individuals better manage their overall health and well-being.
In addition to providing educational information, Patient First offered complimentary blood pressure screenings to attendees. Healthcare professionals explained each person’s results, discussed what the readings meant, and provided guidance on appropriate next steps, including lifestyle modifications or follow-up care when necessary. These one-on-one conversations empowered participants to better understand their cardiovascular health and encouraged proactive management of potential health concerns.
Health and Wellness Day served as an excellent opportunity for Patient First to strengthen its connection with the local community while reinforcing its commitment to accessible, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare. By combining health education, preventive screenings, and meaningful interactions in a fun family-friendly environment, Patient First helped make the event both informative and impactful for everyone who attended.
