Back-to-School Fiesta At Woodbury’s Walnut Street Elementary School

We love our school partnerships at Patient First!

Each year, we provide donations to several local schools near our centers to help fund activities that benefit students and staff. One of our longtime partners, Walnut Street Elementary School in Woodbury, NJ, recently welcomed us to their annual Back-to-School Fiesta BBQ, just minutes from our Woodbury center.

The event was filled with energy and excitement as children and families enjoyed a free treat from the food truck, games, and both indoor and outdoor activities. We were so pleased to be part of the school celebration, since it gave us an opportunity to reconnect with students, parents, and staff as the new school year kicked off.

Dr. Adams, the school principal, gave us his usual warm welcome, and we were especially happy to see and chat with the school superintendent, who stopped by to share his appreciation, and take advantage of a quick blood pressure check!

Our table stayed busy throughout the afternoon! Kids loved our giveaways, while parents enjoyed conversations about health, wellness, and the services available at our Woodbury center. Many also shared the positive experiences they have had with our Woodbury center Medical Director and team, who were there to represent Patient First. We have earned the status of “Best Urgent Care of Gloucester County,” and events like this give us the ability to meet people where they are in the community before they are sick or injured, so they know where they can go when they need us.

Back-to-school events like this highlight the strength of our school partnerships and our commitment to supporting healthy, happy children and families and the community. We look forward to participating in many more school activities during the school year.
