Connecting With Students And Staff At Kutztown University

We had a fantastic day visiting Kutztown University of Pennsylvania for their recent on-campus Health Fair, an event which was all about supporting student success through health and well-being. Hosted by the university’s Health & Wellness Services team, the fair brought together campus and community partners to inspire students to take charge of their health.

The Student Union was buzzing with energy as hundreds of students stopped by vendor tables, eager to learn and engage. Our Patient First table was a popular stop! Students lined up for blood pressure checks, great conversations, and, of course, our always-popular giveaways. Throughout the day, we connected with faculty and staff who were already quite familiar with Patient First and our services, which was refreshing for us to hear. It also was rewarding to hear how many students already know and trust Patient First, many proudly sharing stories of their visits to our centers back home in Wyomissing, Allentown, Pottstown, and beyond.

With more than 400 participants, the energy and enthusiasm at this event was contagious. We’re told that eighty percent of students surveyed afterward said they learned something new about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. That’s an amazing outcome and a testament to the thoughtful planning by the university organizers who put this amazing event together.

We are grateful to have been part of such a lively and well-organized event, and always enjoy partnering with other colleges and universities for similar campus health fairs and special on-campus events. There’s nothing better than helping students feel their best and inspiring lifelong habits of well-being.
