Senior Showcase 2026

On May 27, Patient First was proud to sponsor the Senior Showcase, presented by the Virginia Beach Mayor’s Commission on Aging. This free community event was held from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Princess Anne Recreation Center and brought together seniors, caregivers, families, and community organizations for a morning of valuable resources and engagement.

Although the event officially began at 9:00 a.m., enthusiastic attendees started arriving as early as 8:00 a.m., forming a line that wrapped around the recreation center before the doors opened.

Upon entering, guests were welcomed by representatives from more than 30 local organizations, city departments, and businesses. Patient First was honored to be among the exhibitors, sharing information about the healthcare services available to seniors and their families. Visitors to the Patient First table learned about services such as on-site laboratory testing, prescription refills, and daily Telehealth appointments, which allow patients to consult with medical providers from the comfort of their own homes.

Throughout the event, the Patient First team also provided more than 40 complimentary blood pressure screenings, helping attendees take an active role in monitoring their health.

In addition to informational exhibits, the Senior Showcase featured an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations for their dedication to serving the senior community. Attendees also enjoyed door prize giveaways, live musical performances by local Virginia Beach talent, and lunch provided by the Virginia Beach Police Department. Patient First is grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful event and connect with members of the Virginia Beach community. We look forward to continuing our commitment to promoting health, wellness, and accessible care for seniors throughout the region.
