The pumpkins said fall. The sunshine felt more like summer. And at Hanover Township’s Fall Fest in Bethlehem on October 3, there was plenty of room for both.
Families from the area filled the Community Center grounds for a free afternoon of hayrides, apple cider, music, food and games. Children picked out pumpkins and gave them a little personality at the decorating station. A car show, rescheduled after an earlier rainout, added another fun attraction to an already busy campus. This was truly an afternoon of amusement for everyone in the family.
For our Patient First team, the best part was spending time with our neighbors. Our Bethlehem center is just a mile down the road, and years of participating in Community Center hosted events have made these visits feel like catching up with friends. We are grateful for the warm welcome and great conversations we always have with every event organized by the great people of Bethlehem’s Hanover Township.
At the Fall Fest event, our tent offered a place to stop, chat and fit a blood pressure screening into the day’s fun. Visitors picked up giveaways, learned about our services and asked about our Halloween candy X-rays. We sent our candy X-Ray flyers home with families to share with friends and neighbors.
We also had a little help getting the word out. Throughout the afternoon, the event disc jockey gave Patient First shout-outs over the loudspeaker, inviting festivalgoers to visit our tent for a blood pressure check and learn about the candy screenings, which was great. Talk about a warm welcome!
Between familiar faces, new introductions and pumpkins ready for their front-porch debuts, Fall Fest gave us plenty of reasons to smile. We’re happy to be part of this community and already looking forward to our next visit. This event in Hanover Township, Bethlehem offered us a great kick off our busy Fall event schedule.
