DDDC Annual Safety & Health Fair

For the first time, Patient First had the opportunity to participate in the Dan Daniels Distribution Center (DDDC) Annual Safety & Health Fair. Held on June 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the event provided DDDC associates with valuable information on workplace safety, health and wellness, and financial planning.

Nearly 700 associates rotate through the DDDC facility each day to support operations. With this in mind, Patient First representatives focused on sharing information about primary care, preventive care, and occupational health services. Because Patient First is open 365 days a year, patients and occupational health clients can access quality care on a schedule that works for them.

Representatives also highlighted the benefits of Patient First’s on-site laboratory testing and X-ray services, which can often reduce the need for additional appointments and help lower overall healthcare costs.

To encourage DDDC associates to take an active role in their health, safety, and wellness, Patient First provided nearly 50 complimentary blood pressure screenings. Team members also took time to explain the results and educate associates about what their readings meant.

Overall, the event was a great opportunity for Patient First to engage with and give back to the community members we serve. We look forward to participating in next year’s Annual Safety & Health Fair.
