Patient First was back in Bethlehem, PA for another Blueberry Festival– one of the Lehigh Valley’s most tasty and popular summer traditions, organized and hosted by Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites and an event we’ve enjoyed being part of for many years.
Located close to our Bethlehem center, this annual festival gives us an opportunity to connect with neighbors, catch up with familiar faces, and meet visitors from across the region. As always, people traveled from well beyond the Lehigh Valley to enjoy the event.
Although inclement weather cut Saturday’s festivities short, Sunday’s sunshine brought large crowds to the “Vendor Village.” Our Patient First tent was a popular stop and stayed busy throughout the day, as visitors stopped by for complimentary blood pressure checks, giveaway items, and many great conversations.
Most visitors to our tent shared stories about positive experiences at Patient First centers throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond, while others who were new to the area were excited to learn more about our services. Sports physicals and Telehealth were among the most common questions.
One of the most popular giveaways wasn’t a giveaway at all. Our blueberry muffin recipe handouts returned this year, and festivalgoers made sure to grab a copy before continuing their visit. And yes, the blueberry pie and blueberry ice cream were among the highlights of the event. Delicious, as always!
With another successful festival in the books, we are already looking ahead to returning to Historic Bethlehem this fall for the Apple Festival, and another chance to be part of the community at this same location!
