2026 York Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, April 4th, Patient First returned to Kiwanis Lake in York, PA for the 51st Annual York Easter Egg Hunt. Our participation in this event comes through our year-long partnership with the York Recreation and Parks Department, and is held in cooperation with Autism York.

This event was just four miles from our East York center, bringing hundreds of families for not just an egg hunt, but plenty of bounce house activities, food, music, and games. The egg hunts were broken down into four different age groups, and spread out throughout the course of the day. At the end of the event, children could win a variety of prizes, including brand new bicycles, based on the tickets hidden inside the eggs they collected.

While the vast majority of people we spoke with had been patients of ours, there were more than a handful of people that had never been to see us before. They were very encouraged when we explained the range of services we can provide, including telehealth, as well as school and sports physicals.

This afternoon event is one that has been held in the town of York for generations, and it is obvious from the number of people who continue to come out and support it. Many of the parents attended it when they were kids, themselves. The weather was ideal, and staff and participants alike had a great time. We look forward to the other events with York Rec this year!
