Dr. Ariel Capili joined Patient First as a staff physician in August of 2018. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Maryland in Baltimore County, Maryland, and then he received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Capili completed a residency in family medicine at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. In addition, he completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine through Virginia Commonwealth University-Bon Secours St. Francis in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Capili is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
