Camelot Elementary School Partnership
Camelot Elementary School, a Purple Star School has fostered a continued partnership with Patient First over the past several years. This school year they utilized their donation to fund a student incentive program. The students earn Good Knight Bucks for good behavior. Their bucks are placed in a treasure chest for a weekly drawing. If that students name is drawn they are able to pick out a prize from the prize box. Patient First is proud to help support the students in the community while helping to promote positive behavior.

James W. Lilley, Jr. Elementary School
James W. Lilley, Jr. Elementary School There’s no denying that since March 2020, the pandemic has taken its toll on the emotional health of students and educators everywhere. James W. Lilley, Jr. Elementary School in South Jersey, near our Sicklerville center, tackled things head on and sought ways to raise spirits. Accordingly, the have established a “PRIDE” (Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Effort) program at the school; and, they are recognizing student achievements each month. Patient First’s donation helped the school purchase “Paw Power” spirit wear T-shirts for PRIDE student leaders. Each month Lilley students are excited to learn who will be recognized from each classroom and rewarded with a special luncheon and their T-shirt. Many students have already been recognized, and this program will continue throughout the school year. Students have been excited to wear their T-shirts during the last Friday each month which is “Spirit Day” at the school. They will wear their shirts again for an end-of-year PRIDE celebration and Field Day. Keep up the good work Lilley Elementary! We are pleased to be a part of celebrating ...
Holland Elementary School Champions World Autism Month
April is World Autism Month, but Holland Elementary School Champions Students with Special Needs Every Month Each year, Patient First provides a monetary gift to schools near our centers. In Lower Bucks County Pennsylvania near our Feasterville center, Holland Elementary school used their gift to purchase adaptive physical education equipment. The new equipment is now enabling children with autism and a variety of other special needs to participate fully in gym activities. The school provided a “demonstration day” and invited us out to show us how our gift was put to such good use. They even invited Miss Pennsylvania Meghan Sinisi along to check things out. Meghan is an advocate for children with Autism and the founder of her own 501c3 organization, “From a New Perspective” which provides assistance to families and individuals on the autism spectrum by identifying resources and promoting autism appreciation through educational efforts. We discovered something quite incredible at the school during our visit. They have adopted a “reverse inclusion” model there, where typically developing students are paired with students with special needs to make new ...
Sheridan Elementary School Partnership
Sheridan Elementary School Partnership Each year Patient First identifies a few local schools near our centers to provide a monetary gift that we know each appreciates, and needs to bring something a little extra to the school or classroom. This year was no exception. On a recent visit to Sheridan Elementary School in Allentown, PA, the principal, Ms. Lesko, and students surprised us with a holiday gratitude card to say thanks for our gift. “Grateful … Thankful … Kind … Nice” are just a few sentiments from the students at Sheridan. Sheridan’s Parent Teacher Organization will purchase a Sheridan shirt for each student in the school to support school spirit and for students to wear on special occasions. This will be made possible through Patient First’s gift. See more news and event photos here.
Mountain View Elementary Spring Festival
On Saturday, May 30th, the PTA at Mountain View Elementary school, near our Gainesville center held its inaugural Spring Festival, and Patient First was a proud participant in the event! More than 500 families gathered to take part in the fun and games, which included activities like the Patient First sponsored Moon Bounce, a rock climbing wall, and a variety of games. There was also a chance for kids to get hands-on experiences with horses, and a petting zoo. A DJ fed the ears, keeping the party atmosphere alive, while food trucks fed participants' stomachs. The only thing shining brighter than the sun and clear skies were the smiles on the faces of the kids who turned out for this fantastic event. Patient First is proud to have been able to help kick off what everyone hopes will become a yearly event!
Tuckahoe Elementary Spring Fling
Tuckahoe Elementary School kicked off the season with their annual Spring Fling. Patient First hosted the Kooky Clinic, which was a big hit for the students. Several kids lined up at the Patient First tent to receive bandages, wraps, slings and fake blood to make their imitation injuries look real. And just like any other day, a few of our awesome team members from the Colonial Heights center jumped right in to take care of them. Other fun stations set up for the kids included a petting zoo, axe throwing, bounce houses, cake walks, a trolley train, as well as food, music, and so much more. The PTA did an awesome job of putting the event together to make it a memorable moment for the kids. And to top it all off, the weather was perfect! What an awesome day for the Tuckahoe community! We had a blast and look forward to seeing you all next year.
Oakwood Elementary
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” The words of Dr. Seuss are being put into practice at Oakwood Elementary School, near our Glen Burnie center. School staff and administrators are using Patient First’s donation to purchase mobile book carts for their classrooms. The goal is to make reading accessible and fun, fostering a lifelong love of academic growth.
