Hanover Township Festival

After being closed for nearly a year and a half, Bethlehem’s Hanover Township Community Center recently re-opened, and their first event back – Hanover Township Fall Festival, a pirate-themed event – was a huge success. As the first “returning sponsor” as the facility reopened, we earned a premier spot in the midst of all the fun. Our tent was a popular one and our giveaways flew off our table. We enjoyed lots of excellent conversations with folks from throughout the Lehigh Valley – Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.  Mother Nature even cooperated by providing perfect weather for an outdoor Fall event. There are more fun, family-friendly events planned at the Community Center in the weeks and months ahead, and Patient First is looking forward to being part of them! It is such a pleasure to be good neighbors with such a great community organization that is just a short drive from our Bethlehem center.

Touch a Truck

On Saturday, October 9 The Junior League of Richmond hosted the 16th annual Touch a Truck event.  Several community vehicles lined the parking lot of the Richmond Raceway as families got up close and personal with a number of construction, transportation and emergency service vehicles. Although the weather was gloomy, the children’s faces were illuminated with cheer and excitement as they paraded the grounds.  This was the first year that Patient First participated.  As the only healthcare vendor in attendance, it was a great experience to be a part of this family friendly event.

Woodbury Fall Festival

Patient First was a “Gold Sponsor” of the 2021 Woodbury Fall Festival Parade on October 9, and we were represented by a small team of staff from our Woodbury center. Dana Fluck, Jessica Lavigna, Sonja Eliasen and Karen Eubanks proudly carried the Patient First banner, and spread their smiles and positive attitudes along the entire parade route. We have participated in this parade previously, and this year’s start had a bit of a new twist. Things stepped off from the Acme Market parking lot directly across the street from our Woodbury center!  We received lots of cheers along the parade route which made us extra happy. We even had a shout out from a young man who thanked us for sponsoring his sports team. It was such a fun event and great to be back in the community. This parade has a long history, and is one of the most popular – perhaps THE most popular event in the Woodbury Community

Towson Fall Festival

We had a great day at the Towson Fall Fest.  Cloudy skies and a cool breeze put a hint of Halloween in the air and added to everyone’s spirit.  It was a great day filled with people, music and food.  Patient First can’t wait for the next celebration in the street.  See you again next year.

Celtic Classic

Celtic Classic

It’s fun to return for a day each year to the annual Celtic Classic event, and we were glad to be back this year after the pandemic cancelled the event in 2020. Bagpipes, demonstration of athletic prowess, men, women, and children in kilts… this event has it all. The Celtic Classic historically attracts over 280,000 visitors to downtown Historic Bethlehem. More than 600 volunteers made this year’s 34th Annual event a huge success. It was presented by the Celtic Cultural Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Celtic heritage through education, musical presentations, and traditional competitions in athletics, piping and dance. We are already looking forward to returning to this exciting event in 2022!

2021 Neptune Festival

This past weekend, Patient First teamed up with the Neptune Festival to support its annual event in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The Neptune Festival is held on the boardwalk and is family focused and attracts people from all over.  With its debut in the 1970’s, the festival was created in an effort to celebrate the heritage of the city.  Live entertainment, vendors, a parade and the Sand Sculpting Championship were the main attractions that thousands of patrons gathered to see.  With mild weather, calm winds and a very attractive beach vibe, you couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

Patient First was excited to be out in the community celebrating the 39th Annual Carytown Watermelon Festival in Richmond, Virginia. Festival goers braved the heat to come out and support local businesses and enjoy the arts, crafts, and watermelon. Special thanks to the Patient First staff for helping with this event and all those who stopped by and said hello!
