Dr. Husseini joined Patient First as a Staff Physician at the Midlothian center in November of 2008.  A 1982 graduate of the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, she earned her M.D. degree from the same institution in 1986.  She completed a residency program in pediatrics and served as a pediatrician in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia until moving to the United States in 2000.  In Virginia, Dr. Husseini established her U.S. citizenship and then completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Lynchburg Family Medicine.  Prior to joining Patient First, she practiced in urgent care. Dr. Husseini is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
