Dr. Mirshahi joined Patient First in 2005 after serving in the Richmond area as an internist and primary care physician for 15 years.  She earned her B.S. and M.D. degrees in Karachi, Pakistan, and worked as a resident medical officer until she came to the United States in 1984.  In 1988, she acquired United States Citizenship and completed residency in internal medicine at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York.  She and her family moved to Richmond, Virginia, in 1991.  Dr. Mirshahi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
